Assistant Kitchen Manager
Description
First Step House is hiring an Assistant Kitchen Manager located in Salt Lake City, Utah!!

Tired of working 40 hours per week? Join our team and enjoy a standardized 36-hour work week!
- Hourly range is $20 - $23 per hour based on experience

Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent with at least one-year experience in related industry is preferred.
Licenses/Certificates/Registrations
- Food handlers permit required.
- Valid driver's license required.
Duties to include but not limited to:
- Executes weekly menus utilizing in-kind donations efficiently in coordination with food services manager.
- Ensures proper receipt and storage of both donated and purchased food.
- Monitors rotation of food in walk-in, freezers, and dry storage.
- Attends monthly Food Services meeting.
- Maintains all Food Services tools and equipment.
- Supervise cook staff in order to accomplish Food Services Manager's instructions.
- Oversee kitchen and cooks in the absence of Food Services Manager
- Communicates with Food Service Manager about any equipment service needed and all other required food product and needs
