We're hiring a part-time Clinical Supervisor in Salt Lake City, Utah with a fantastic Sign-on Bonus.
The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for meeting with assigned supervisees for a total of 1 hour for every 40 hours worked by the supervisee. The Clinical Supervisor works to ensure that supervisees are operating within their scope of practice and following licensing rules as set forth in the General Rule, Mental Health Professional Practice Act Rule, and other applicable rules set forth by the Utah Department of Occupational and Professional Licensing. Clinical Supervisors may choose to work from the supervision mode of their choice, but regardless of model, they are required to ensure that agency-specified topics are addressed on a quarterly basis. The Clinical Supervisor will conduct periodic observations of the supervisee in both group and individual settings and will provide feedback based upon these observations. The Clinical Director may also request that the Clinical Supervisor instruct, provide correction, model, or role play portions of specific therapeutic modalities to ensure treatment fidelity. The Clinical Supervisor may be required to conduct a periodic review of the supervisees client files to ensure that documentation is being completed accurately and that it meets contractual requirements as set forth by First Step House funding partners. Finally, the Clinical Supervisor may be required to review and co-sign client treatment plans formulated by the supervisee.

There are days that the job is hard, but I think the reward outweighs how hard the job is. The reward of seeing people smile, seeing people come to the front desk and say, ‘thank you guys for everything you do –you’ve really helped me for the day.’
First Step is a great place to come if you truly want to feel like you’re making a difference. It’s really awesome coming to work everyday knowing that I’m valued and that I’m cared for and that not just my work life is important but overall.
Not only does First Step invest so much in their clients and wraparound services to set them up for success, but they do the same with employees. They give us generous time off and really encourage good like work-life balance which is so needed in this field.
I work at First Step House because I feel valued and feel like I’m giving back to my community.
The things I like most about First Step House and my job are that I get to see clients come into the building with no hope at all, and I get to watch them go from no hope to having all the hope in the world, a place to live, a job, and having a fresh life.
If you want your work to mean something, you’re in the right place.
